Americans’ support for Afghan war drops sharply: poll

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Support for the war in Afghanistan has dropped sharply among Americans in recent months as they grow increasingly disillusioned with the conflict that began more than a decade ago, according to a New York Times/CBS News public opinion poll released on Monday.
